Tremella is a beautiful glassy, jelly like mushroom that is found on the dead branches of broadleaf trees and is commercially cultivated as a food and eastern medicine. It also goes by the name snow fungus. It is also a parasitic yeast that will take over other fungi. It has a wide distribution in tropical and subtropical regions across the globe. They are said to have a very mild and sweet flavor.

Opal is one of the worlds most famous gemstones. Renowned for it's blazing beautiful fire play of color it's a coveted gem with a long history. Opal is a member of the quartz family that can contain a pretty high content of water. Opal is known as a stone of good luck in metaphysical communities although at one point it was labeled unlucky by diamond companies in fear that it would overtake the diamond in popularity. Opal while magically beautiful is a very fragile stone due to its ability to take on and release water.
